Accessibility
ReadySeen is meant to be usable by people who are worried, unwell, older, using a small phone, or using assistive technology. This page describes what we do now and what is still open.
01 — Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across readyseen.com and the app.
02 — Navigation, text and motion
Pages use real headings, labelled form fields and visible focus outlines, and every control can be reached with a keyboard. Text keeps at least 4.5:1 contrast against its background. Touch targets in the app are at least 44 pixels. The scroll story and other motion stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and the story has a still version when WebGL is unavailable.
03 — Images and screens
Photos on the marketing pages are decorative illustrations and are marked as such; product screens carry text alternatives. The emergency notice is a text banner on every page, not an image.
04 — Known limits
The camera guide in the app relies on sight for lining up photos; you can still add photos without it. Some charts in the clinic dashboard are summarised in text next to them. We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
05 — Report a barrier
If something is hard to use, tell us through the contact form with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix barriers in core flows (sign-up, the app, sharing, the clinic inbox) as a priority.
06 — Review and remaining work
Still open: an independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit, screen-reader testing of the clinic inbox on iOS and Android, and a Spanish version of the core flows.
