Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy is required by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373), Nevada SB 370 and Connecticut's consumer health data law, and is linked from every page of readyseen.com. It is a working draft for review by licensed counsel and is not yet in force. ReadySeen is operated by LIKE A KING INC., One World Trade Center, Suite 8500, New York, NY 10007, United States.
01 — Categories we collect
Photos of a body area you choose; the symptoms, timeline and history you enter; medicines and allergies; insurance details; and the fact that you prepared for or sought care. Most of this stays on your device. It reaches our servers only inside an encrypted brief you choose to share, which we cannot read. On our servers we hold records that a brief was shared (when, with which clinic if you sent it to one, and when it was opened).
02 — Sources
You, and people you authorise.
03 — Purposes
Only to provide the features you ask for: tracking, the Visit Brief, sharing and sending to a clinic; to keep the Service secure; and to meet legal duties.
04 — Consent
We ask for your consent before you add health information, and separately, every time before a brief is shared or sent, naming what will be shared, with whom and for how long. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning a share off and deleting your data.
05 — Sharing
Only with the recipients you pick for each share, and with processors that host the Service for us and may act only on our instructions. We do not sell consumer health data. Washington law would require a separate signed authorisation for any sale; we do not ask for one.
06 — No geofencing
We do not draw virtual boundaries around health-care facilities to locate, track or message people.
07 — Your rights
You can confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, access it, get a list of the third parties and affiliates we shared it with, withdraw consent, and delete it (from backups within 30 days). If we decline a request you may appeal through the contact form; if the appeal is denied you may complain to your state attorney general.
08 — Contact
