Using ReadySeen
The interview and warning signs
How the fixed warning-sign rules work, and their limits.
The interview asks short questions in plain language. Your answers build the brief in your own words.
Some combinations of answers match warning-sign rules: fixed, written rules based on published public-health guidance, each shown with its source. If one matches, ReadySeen says so at the top of the screen and the brief, as Call 911 now or Get care today, before anything else.
What the rules are not:
- They are not a diagnosis, and they don't use artificial intelligence.
- No warning does not mean you are well. If you're worried, contact a clinician.
- The rules have not yet been signed off by a licensed clinician. We say so in the app until that review is done.
In an emergency, don't use the app. Call 911.
